The Human Resources Department is often the first point of contact for the public as we greet callers and visitors to the Battle Ground Public Schools district office in Brush Prairie. Part of our job is to help our school principals and district administrators fill job openings when they arise, while being responsive, friendly, and helpful to members of the public inquiring about job opportunities. Whatever your needs, and whether you are an employee of the district, a parent, alumni, student, or member of the general public, we strive to be courteous, helpful and always mindful that we work for the public.

If you are interested in working as a substitute, please complete the FastTrack application online.

If you are a current substitute and wish to apply for positions using the same email address that is connected to Skyward, please create your profile through Employee Access. Please note, however, that substitutes are not considered district employees for internal-only positions. If you are a district employee using or creating a FastTrack profile, it is best to use a personal email address in your contact information, rather than your district email address. In the event of separation with the district, you may not have access to your district email account.

As of January 1, 2013, all new hires will need to have Washington State Patrol and FBI fingerprint clearance before they will be allowed to start work in their new position. This will only affect those hired from outside the district, who have not had fingerprints taken at an ESD (or OSPI) in Washington State in the last two years. PLEASE NOTE: this does not mean you will need to be fingerprinted in order to apply for positions. It simply means that there may be a delay between the date of hire, and the date work will start. This may be especially true during busier times for ESD’s; such as the start of a new school year.

Information on fingerprinting services from Educational Service District (ESD) 112
